Overview
Federal law requires that the Wyoming Child Support Program (CSP) provide notice to each of the parents subject to a current child support order with their respective rights to request a review of the child support order and, if appropriate, an adjustment of the current child support order based upon Wyoming child support guidelines.
Policy
The Wyoming CSP will notify the parties connected to a child support case of their right to request a review of the child support obligation and if appropriate, an adjustment of the child support order. The notification will be made at 36-month intervals based upon:
The date of the last child support modification/order; or
The date of the last review and subsequent notification to both parties.
Note: In foster care cases, both parents are considered “non-custodial” and only the non-custodial parents, not the Department of Family Services, will receive the Notice of Right to Request a Review.
