Financial Help Desk Requests (DFSFINHELP@WYO.GOV) 


The financial Help Desk handles the following requests only:
  • Recycle Over-Collects
  • Recycle Held Futures and Futures Disbursed 
  • Negative URPA balances
Remember:  Requests can take up to 30 days to resolve.

Please make sure that all Case Kids, judgments, and orders are loaded correctly on POSSE before submitting your request.

Recycle Over-Collects
  • Provide the POSSE Case ID in the email subject line
  • Provide a detailed description of the question or problem to be resolved.  Explain why the over-collect happened and what needs to be done with the over-collect; for example, refund to non-custodial parent (NCP), apply to assigned or non-assigned arrears, ect.  

Recycle Held Futures & Recycle Futures Disbursed

  • Provide the POSSE Case ID in the email subject line
  • Provide a detailed description of the question or problem to be resolved.  Explain why the over-collect happened and what needs to be done with the over-collect; for example, refund to non-custodial parent (NCP) or apply to assigned or non-assigned arrears,
Negative URPA Balance
  • IMPORTANT:  A pre-EPICS search must be requested and a response received before making a request  (see Who's Who in the State Office)
  • Provide the POSSE Case ID in the email subject line
  • Provide a detailed description of the question or problem to be resolved


High Priority Requests

High priority requests are customer complaints or pending tax intercept payment issues. 
  • Provide the Case ID and the words High Priority in the email subject line.
  • Provide a detailed description of why this request is High Priority.  

 Intergovernmental Responding Cases cannot have an Over Collect or Futures Held on them.  Also, Responding cases cannot have an assigned arrears balance because the Never Assign Arrears flag is marked.
