Because the IV-D child support program has access to personal, financial, and other information on all of the participants within a child support case, each child support program shall have safeguards in effect to protect all confidential information handled by the IV-D agency.  In Wyoming, these safeguards include information received from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement and Bureau of Fiscal Service contained on the Wyoming CSE Program computer system, POSSE, protected by the federal Privacy Act, and released to the customers within the child support enforcement program.
